Johnny and Uncle David with a 2010 opening day firearms 8 point. This was shot early morning opening day with my muzzleloader, about a half hour after I missed a big 10 point, which is still hard to live down.
Heck of a 2010 Buck Pole. Johnny on left with an 8 point, Jason with a nice 10, uncle David with an 8, and Josh with a 7 point.Johnny with a 7 point bow kill a few years ago. I shot this buck north of Fred and Florence's a few years ago. I remember he came in with a group of does, and I drew back, and they all got in front of me and stopped, and the buck was behind a tree. There I was at full draw with about 7 deer in front of me, and it felt like forever, finally he took a few steps forward and I let him have it, double lung, ran across the field and found him rite in the edge of the woods to the east.
Uncle David with an opening day firearm buck from a few years ago. He shot this across the road from mom and Kirk's old house, out in his gun shack. This was sort of the beginning of starting to shoot some older bucks, and it was a beauty.
